This meetup featured tours of several repurposed makerspaces, each showcasing a unique approach to supporting student learning. edm8ker also shared a session on "Beyond the Prototype," followed by a hands-on activity that challenged educators to design with intention. Participants also learned about SJI's lower-secondary badging pathways to develop maker skills.

Participants toured the Climate Adaptation Lab, discussed the key components of meaningful maker programs, learned from repair@school initiatives, and gained hands-on experience converting a 2-pin plug into a 3-pin plug, building practical skills that can be brought back to the classroom.

Singapore Sustainability Hackathon

Over three action-packed days, students took on real-world sustainability challenges through a design thinking hackathon organized by edm8ker in partnership with DSG Council and EB Impact. Participants researched issues within their communities, developed innovative solutions with support from mentors and facilitators, and pitched their ideas to industry representatives.
